New direct flight from New York is good news for Malaga

MALAGA – Good news for travel enthusiasts, business travellers and for the city of Malaga: United Airlines has announced that it will resume its direct flight service between Newark Liberty International Airport (New York) and Malaga.

The first New York Malaga flight will take place on May 30, 2024. This direct connection will be active until September 2024 and will operate three times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. United Airlines has already made the tickets for these flights available to the public.

Statistics of the prevailing racing season

In the inaugural season, which started in June this year and ended recently, the airline offered a total of 17,000 seats across 52 flights. Interest was significant, supporting the decision to continue the service.
