MIJAS- The 1st Mijas International Business Fair, organised in association with Costa Women and the Mijas Foreigners Department, has concluded with resounding success, marking a significant milestone in fostering community engagement and supporting local businesses.
On November 11, 2023, the picturesque setting of PLAY Restaurant in Mijas Costa hosted the vibrant gathering. 350 people including 30+ local businesses and Associations attended the Mijas International Business Fair. The event, which started at 11.00 am, showcased the diversity of products and services offered by Mijas-based entrepreneurs.
Connections
The fair attracted a diverse crowd, bringing together residents and businesses in a spirit of unity and collaboration. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with local business owners, learn about their offerings, and forge valuable connections within the community.
The primary objective of the Mijas International Business Fair was to encourage residents to embrace the concept of buying, supporting and shopping locally. The event served as a platform for local businesses to highlight their unique contributions to the community and encouraged residents to invest in the local economy.
Networking opportunities
Highlights included the facilitation of fruitful networking opportunities, fostering new collaborations and partnerships among local businesses.
Initial feedback from both businesses and attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, underscoring the importance of such events in strengthening community bonds.
