Costa Press Club celebrated its 20th anniversary with a gala dinner in Play Restaurant in Mijas. The Club is a foreign media association and the place to find foreign media experts on the Costa del Sol.

On Tuesday, September 20 members of the Costa Press Club gathered at the Play Mijas Restaurant.  In the early evening, guests received a welcome drink and mingled on the spacious terrace with spectacular sea views. Here they enjoyed live music provided by Rocío Starry.

Dinner was served inside the venue and the atmosphere was very animated. For later on the evening the Club organized a raffle with great prizes donated by local companies and organisations. Among the guests were Elena Blanco, President of the Asociación de la Prensa de Málaga (APM), and staff from the Faculty of Journalism at Málaga University.

Jesper Sander Pedersen, President of the Costa Press Club, spoke after the dinner about the history of the club. The members represent all the foreign-language media on the coast. Furthermore, he thanked all those who had contributed to the club over the years. The event was a real tribute to the diversity of foreign communities on the Costa del Sol and the media organisations that serve them.
