SEVILLE – Several officers of the Local Police of Seville were injured in the night from Monday to Tuesday after a dangerous police chase in Seville.
The chase took place from the Plaza de Armas bus station to a location in Sanlúcar la Mayor, more than 30 kilometres from the provincial capital.

According to information from Emergencias Sevilla, a service of the municipality, the chase started at 3.30 am. The driver, who repeatedly ran into the police car during the chase, later admitted to using cocaine.
When the 40-year-old man was arrested, a quantity of cocaine and hashish was found in his car. However, he refused a test for the presence of narcotics.
Emergencias Sevilla has confirmed that the officers were injured during the arrest and that the suspect has been arrested before for assault against authorities.
