CORDOBA – The Mezquita-Catedral in Cordoba offers a unique experience for visitors who spend the night in the city: ‘El alma de Córdoba’ (The Soul of Córdoba). A nighttime visit to one of Spain’s most visited monuments.

This night-time spectacle provides a unique opportunity to discover the monument from a different angle. Not only that, but it is completed with a show of light, sound, and images. The tour starts at the Patio de los Naranjos with an audiovisual projection. This covers the complete history of the monument and the city. The tour then continues inside the temple itself, taking in key sights such as the original Basilica of San Vicente and the story of its reconquest by Fernando III. All this is accompanied by an evolving light and sound show that takes visitors on a fascinating journey through time.

Practical information

The tour of the Mezquita-Catedral in Cordoba lasts one hour and is available in multiple languages, including Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Arabic and Russian. The number of participants per group is limited to 80 people to ensure an intimate experience.
