La Molina/Masella – Alp2500
In the number 1 position, with 4.3 out of 5 stars is La Molina/Masella – Alp2500 in Girona, Catalonia. The ski resort La Molina/Masella – Alp2500 is located in the Province of Girona (Catalonia ). Furthermore, for skiing and snowboarding, there are 145 km of slopes available. The guests are transported by 33 lifts. And, the winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,616 and 2,537m.
Alp 2500 combines the winter sports areas of Masella and La Molina. La Molina is the oldest ski resort in Spain. Moreover, the first ski lift went into operation in 1943. There are slopes of all difficulty levels for skiing and snowboarding. These are accessed mainly by chairlifts. The ski resort is around two hours’ drive from Barcelona.
Baqueira/Beret
Also, in Cataluyna is number 2, Baqueira/Beret. The ski resort Baqueira/Beret is located in Val d’Aran (Catalonia, Lleida). For skiing and snowboarding, there are 165 km of slopes and 5 km of ski routes available. The guests are transported by 36 lifts. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,500 and 2,610m.
The Baqueira Beret ski resort is one of the most well-known in Spain. It is also one of the largest and best ski resorts in the Pyrenees. It stretches across Baqueira, Beret and Bonaigua. The slopes at Bequeira Beret are mainly accessed with modern chairlifts. Due to the snow-reliable location, the ski season usually begins in November and goes until the end of April. Ski holiday accommodations are found in the village of Baqueira.
Formigal
At number 3, we move to Huesca. The ski resort of Formigal is located in the Province of Huesca (Aragon). For skiing and snowboarding, there are 143km of slopes available. 21 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,501 and 2,265m.
The Formigal ski resort is one of the best and most modern in all of Spain and the Pyrenees. It stretches across the four connected valleys of Tres Hombres-Sextas, Izas-Sarrios, Anayet and Portalet. The variety ranges from very easy slopes to extremely steep slopes and freeride areas. The Formigal ski resort is located directly on the French/Spanish border in the western section of the Pyrenees.

Most of the ski resort of Cerler is located above 2,000 metres. The lifts provide access to several summits around the Pico Cerler in the centre. All main connections are linked by chairlifts. Slopes of all difficulty levels are in mainly open terrain above the treeline.
Sierra Nevada
