With this measure, the provincial government wants to “help families cope with inflation”. Please note that the free public transport in Valencia are those that fall under the jurisdiction of the Generalitat. This does not apply to the bus company EMT Valencia, for example, because this service is managed by the municipality of Valencia.
Young people can use the metro in Valencia, the Metrobús, the tram and the trams in Castellón and Alicante for free. The conditions of this free regional public transport in Valencia will be published shortly.
The new measure, the president stressed, is part of a package of measures to combat inflation in the Valencian Community.
