FOOTBALL: Over 60,000 football fans tuned into the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) channel to find out the results of the Copa del Rey semi-finals draw. The first team drawn out was Sevilla. They will play against Barcelona at home in the first leg. The first leg of the second semi-finals sees Athletico at home to Levante.

The Copa del Rey semi-finals will be played over two legs and will be staged on 9th-10th February and 2nd-3rd March. The exact times and dates will be confirmed later today.
Previous Copa del Rey Final
The defending champions have not yet been determined. Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad postponed the final of the previous tournament by mutual consent due to the COVID-19. Therefore, last year´s final will be played on 3rd April 2021.
The favourites
Previous winners Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid were both knocked out in earlier stages. Between them, they lifted the title almost 30 times. With the absence of the Madrid teams, this makes the 2020/21 final rounds, the most interesting in some time. The cup is within touching distance. Recent performances mean that the field is wide open, and any of these teams are capable and deserving of lifting the cup. Seville v Barcelona is not going to be an easy win for either side, however, perhaps Barcelona has a slight advantage with the return leg being played at Camp Nou. Although Levante also has the second leg home advantage, they will be very much seen as the outside chance. Football has produced some interesting results this season, so there could be some surprises. However, at this time, favourites for the final must be Barcelona and Athletic.
