Designed for experience
The local firm ERRE Arquitectura designed the Roig Arena Valencia, working with global studio HOK. It covers around 47,000 square metres. The standout feature? A striking outer shell made from 8,600 ceramic slats, shaped and textured like a basketball. The design adds both character and comfort, helping insulate the space against heat and noise.
Inside, the venue will offer VIP lounges, private terraces and exclusive boxes. Michelin-rated Valencian chef Miguel Martí will head up the catering. There’s also space for over 1,000 cars, along with parking for bikes, scooters and electric vehicles.
Roig Arena Valencia is easy to reach
Roig Arena is easy to get to. It’s served by Metrovalencia’s Line 10 and multiple bus routes, including lines 7 and 13. A new tram stop on Line 12 is also in the works to improve access.
Impact on Valencia
The initiators expect the arena to generate more than €10 million a year and create around 300 jobs, according to the Valencian Institute of Economic Research (IVIE).
In terms of size, Roig Arena will be one of the biggest indoor venues in Spain. With a concert capacity of 18,600 it stands ahead of Madrid’s WiZink Center and Barcelona’s Palau Sant Jordi.
This ambitious project places Valencia firmly on the map for major events—and gives the city a state-of-the-art venue it can be proud of.
