AESAN became aware of this issue through the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF). This was following a notification from the health authorities of the Community of Madrid. It has been reported that, due to an error, the product MEGALIZ RELLENO by the brand MIGUELAÑEZ Gente Dulce contains gluten despite being labelled as “gluten-free.” The ingredient “wheat flour (GLUTEN)” is listed on the packaging.
