More than two decades after their last appearance in Spain, Radiohead are finally returning to Madrid. The British group, hailed as one of the most innovative rock bands of the past 30 years, will perform four concerts this November at the city’s Movistar Arena.

Their last Spanish date was back in 2003, making this announcement a milestone for both loyal fans and a new generation who have only known the band through recordings and streaming.

European tour begins in Spain

Madrid will be the opening stop on a tightly curated European tour. Radiohead will play four nights in each of just five cities — Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen and Berlin — totalling 20 shows. The format is a deliberate choice, with the band opting for extended residencies over single nights, creating a more intimate connection with audiences.

Ticket details for Madrid shows

Access to tickets will be tightly controlled to curb resale. Fans must first register via radiohead.com between Friday, 5 September at 11.00 am and Sunday, 7 September at 11.00 pm. Those accepted will receive a unique code allowing them to purchase up to four tickets per night. General sales open on 12 September.

Concert dates in Madrid:

  • Tuesday 4 November 2025

  • Wednesday 5 November 2025

  • Friday 7 November 2025

  • Saturday 8 November 2025

Back on stage after seven years

This will be Radiohead’s first live outing since 2018 — their longest break to date. The reunion was sparked by informal rehearsals last year, according to drummer Philip Selway, who described the process as “reconnecting with a musical identity that runs deep within all five of us.”

Although no new album has been confirmed, speculation about fresh material is rife. Fans can expect a career-spanning setlist, from the breakthrough sound of The Bends to the haunting textures of A Moon Shaped Pool.

Madrid as a global gathering point

The announcement has already ignited social media, with fans across Europe and beyond planning trips to the Spanish capital. With only five cities on the itinerary, Madrid is set to become a global meeting place for Radiohead devotees this autumn — a rare chance to witness a band whose influence on modern music remains profound.
