Paul McCartney, the legendary ex-Beatle, will perform in Madrid in December as part of his ‘Got Back’ tour. This marks his return to Spain after an eight-year absence. The concerts will take place on December 9 and 10, 2024 at the Wizink Centre.

McCartney, now 81 years old, kicked off his ‘Got Back’ tour in April 2022 in Spokane, US, following the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2023 he toured Australia and Latin America, now adding Spain, France and the UK to his tour. His last appearance in Spain was in 2016 at the now demolished Vicente Calderón stadium. There he performed for 40,000 fans.

Nostalgic show full of classics

The upcoming concert promises a mix of nostalgic Beatles hits and songs from his latest albums, such as ‘McCartney III’. The set list includes the live debut of ‘Women and Wives’ and classic Beatles songs such as ‘Getting Better’ and ‘I’ve Got a Feeling’ in a virtual duet with John Lennon. Well-known hits such as ‘Love Me Do’, ‘Get Back’, ‘Let It Be’, ‘Live and Let Die’ and ‘Hey Jude’ will also be present.
