ALICANTE – Traveling with pets can be a wonderful experience if you are also warmly welcomed at your destination with your furry four-legged friend. To make it easier for tourists to find their way around, the Costa Blanca promotes a special pet-friendly quality mark.
With World Animal Day just around the corner, the Pet-Friendly tourist seal for pet-friendly locations is being promoted again. Dozens of municipalities have joined this initiative. Furthermore, it provides information about restaurants, beaches and hotels, or extra facilities where pets are welcome.

In addition, the pet-friendly tourist seal makes all the necessary tools available to families, so that the trip is not only comfortable but also safe.

Raúl Mérida, President of the Arca de Noé Foundation, emphasised the involvement of the President of the Provincial Council of Alicante, Carlos Mazón, and the Director of the Costa Blanca Tourist Office, José Mancebo. They chose from the beginning to apply real measures so that pets are welcome on the Costa Blanca.
