However, it doesn’t have to be that complicated if you inform yourself well in advance and know where you can go to have coronavirus tests (PCR or antigen test). If you can do that in your own language near your address abroad, that’s so easy. We have good news for those who have booked a holiday to the Spanish east coast or are already staying in the area.
An English-language test street was recently opened in the British mecca and popular Spanish holiday coast of Costa Blanca. In the middle of Benidorm, anyone who needs a PCR or antigen test before a flight back to the United Kingdom or to other countries, or wants to know whether he or she is infected with corona, can contact TestCoronaDirect.com. Due to its overwhelming success, a test location has now also opened in Javea, 45 kilometres to the north (Xàbia in Valencian). At both locations, antigen tests and PCR tests will be taken and you will receive an official PCR travel certificate.
How does it work?
After arrival at Test Corona Direct, the English-speaking employees will take the test from you. With an antigen test (Quick Test) you will receive the result by e-mail after about 15 minutes. With a PCR test you will also receive the result by e-mail within 24 hours. If the test result is negative, you will receive the travel certificate by email at the same time as the result.
