MADRID – A unique collaboration between three production companies and dozens of celebrities creates a new version of Himno a la Alegría. Resulting in the beautiful song serving as a support for the music industry and calling for a more human world.
For the first time in history, production companies Universal Music España, Sony Music España and Warner Music España worked together. They have teamed up to record a very special song. As a result, together they created a new, and beautifully moving version of Himno a la Alegría.
Spanish collaboration honours heroes of the corona pandemic
Although this version was recorded to support the music industry, many aspects of the corona pandemic are also covered. Furthermore, a special role is reserved for the heroes from care. Also the fact that families cannot be together and that many people are lonely due to the pandemic is highlighted.

Not only singers support this initiative, famous athletes also play a leading role in this ode to the music industry. Rafael Nadal, Marc Márquez, Pau Gasol, Messi, Ona Carbonell, Luis Figo, Vicente del Bosque and Simeone can be seen in this new version of Himno a la Alegría. Even the world famous DJ, Martin Garrix from the Netherlands can be seen briefly in the video clip.
