Age in Spain tells you how you can participate in the celebrations even if you are not in the UK. In addition to many events, Age in Spain have also organised a congratulations card. They would like as many people as possible to sign the card. It will then be personally presented to the UK Ambassador in Spain, Mr Hugh Elliott, during the official Platinum Jubilee celebration in Madrid on 2 June 2022.
According to Spanish News Today, Carrefour are also getting involved. To commemorate the occasion, they are introducing a massive range of British products in just under 30 of their stores throughout Spain. This is part of their “Flavours of the United Kingdom” campaign, and as such, these items will be available until June 9.
So, if you are planning an event, and want to feel a little closer to the UK at this time, then have a look at what Carrefour has to offer. An occasion such as this will not happen again any time soon.
