Spanish National Police have rescued a man kidnapped in San Pedro de Alcántara, Marbella, within seven hours of his abduction. Three individuals have been arrested on charges including kidnapping, serious assault, membership in a criminal organisation, illegal possession of firearms, and drug trafficking. Following their court appearance, all three suspects were remanded in custody.
The swift police response was crucial to the operation’s success. The investigation began on Saturday when authorities learned of a man’s abduction the previous evening. Officers immediately launched efforts to pinpoint the location where the victim was being held.

Once detectives identified the property, they set up surveillance. Officers observed several men repeatedly stepping onto the balcony while making phone calls, appearing nervous. Shortly after, the victim was seen climbing down from the balcony before falling to the ground. He was immediately assisted by officers and transported to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Simultaneously, three suspects attempted to flee in a luxury vehicle but were intercepted and arrested by the police.
Firearms and drugs seized in raid
During a search of the property, officers discovered two loaded firearms hidden in kitchen cupboards, nearly €10,000 in cash, a money-counting machine, three knives—including a butterfly knife—two high-end watches, a luxury vehicle, 25 grams of individually wrapped “pink cocaine,” and a digital precision scale.
As a result, all three suspects face multiple serious charges. After appearing before the judicial authorities, they were ordered to remain in pre-trial detention.
