“Rafael Nadal is the best tennis player in history and the greatest ambassador of Mallorca. He is the one who most deserves that Palma de Mallorca airport bears his name,” reads the petition. So far, the initiators have collected 2.500 signatures.

Muntaner writes: “I think that Rafa Nadal represents the values that should be an example for everyone: humility, honesty, education, sacrifice, tenacity, and effort. Furthermore, wherever he has gone, he has made our island, Mallorca, known. Therefore, I think that nothing would make us more excited than every time we pass through that place we can see his name”.
