The wife of a multi-million water boss died suddenly while on holiday in Menorca. Elsie Mogford, 37, passed away in a hospital on the Spanish island on Tuesday.
Cause of death unknown
Elsie Mogford married her husband, 65, two years ago. It is unclear what caused Mrs Mogford’s death. She was rushed to hospital on Tuesday but medics could not save her. Doctors declared her dead at hospital.
Mrs Mogford had posted pictures from her holiday on Instagram.
A family member told the Mail Online of her death. They said, “I’m in a state of shock. I don’t know many details apart from she was on holiday in Menorca and she died on Tuesday morning.
“They have a villa over there and all I know is that they called an ambulance. She has two boys and it’s so sad for them. She was a very good horse rider and a lovely person. I got on well with her.”
Leaves husband and two sons
Mrs Mogford’s children are aged 15 and 11; sons from her previous marriage. She married Mr Mogford in 2019. His first wife, Barbara, died from breast cancer.
She was a keen horsewoman and competed in eventing and dressage.
