Marbella Beach Olympics 2025

The Marbella Beach Olympics returns to Puerto Banús Beach this Saturday, 10 May 2025. Now in its fourth year, the event is expected to draw hundreds of participants and spectators for a day of team games, beach energy, and charitable giving.

Organised by Collective Calling, the initiative raises vital funds to support homelessness in Spain and street children in Tanzania. This year’s headline sponsor, Banús Beach, is helping make the event possible, while Frutas y Verduras Eladio will keep competitors fuelled with healthy snacks.

Get involved: Build a team, make a difference

Teams of 5 to 10 people — made up of friends, colleagues, gym mates, or sports groups — are invited to register. To take part, each team must raise a minimum of €500. That’s just €50 per person in a team of ten.

Participants will compete in a variety of physical challenges on the beach, aiming to beat reigning champions “Big Daddies.” Prizes are on offer, along with a free paella from Banús Beach and live DJ sets throughout the day.

Organisers also welcome individuals to join and will help place them in teams. Those who prefer to support the cause off the sand can donate online.

More than a game

This event is more than just fun. Funds raised will support Collective Calling’s Mobile Shower Unit on the Costa del Sol, which offers warm showers to people experiencing homelessness. The unit provides not only hygiene but also a chance to connect with services and feel human again.

In Tanzania, the funds go toward education, care, and long-term support for children living on the streets. The aim is to break cycles of poverty and exclusion by offering shelter, safety, and opportunities.

A community coming together

Last year’s event saw teams coming together in spirited competition, many wearing branded t-shirts and flying their group colours. This year, organisers hope to build on that success with even greater participation and fundraising.

With only a few days remaining, limited spaces are available, however, it´s not too late. Whether you form a team, join as an individual, or donate, your involvement can create a real and lasting impact.
