Madrid is known for its lively nightlife, with numerous bars, pubs, and nightclubs attracting visitors from all over Spain and beyond. Every year, new places open that try to make a name for themselves in the bustling Spanish capital. One of the newest and most sensational additions is Mística at Edition. This nightclub opened its doors in September.
Mística is hidden in the basement of the five-star hotel The Madrid Edition, at Plaza de Celenque 2, near the Puerta del Sol. Although the space has been used for private events for a year, the club is now open to the general public. The goal is to gain a prominent place in Madrid’s nightlife.
New York flair in Madrid
The Madrid nightclub is distinguished by its New York style. The creator of the Edition brand is Ian Schrager, the founder of the legendary Studio 54 nightclub in New York. Mística combines modern luxury with the raw energy of a New York club from the 70s.
Two floors
Mística extends over two floors. On the first floor, you’ll find the dance floor, with a state-of-the-art sound system, immersive lighting, and visual projections. The second floor is the VIP lounge, where the waiter comes to your table, with an exclusive range of cocktails. The nightclub also has two bars where you can enjoy special drinks.
Varied music
Musically, Mística offers a wide range of electronic music, played by regular DJs and international artists. Expect a mix of disco, house, and afro-house rhythms that fill Madrid’s nights with quality music.
Affordable luxury
Despite its exclusive appearance, Mística wants to remain accessible to everyone. The club is open three days a week: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 11.30 pm to 5.30 am. The entrance fee is affordable and the atmosphere is eclectic, suitable for all generations. Everyone from the age of 25 is welcome to enjoy the festive evenings at Mística.
