The 2025 public holiday calendar for Andalucía has been officially approved, offering residents and visitors a total of 12 public holidays spread throughout the year. These holidays, which are both national and regional, are designated as paid and non-recoverable days off.

In addition to these 12 holidays, each municipality in Andalucía will add two local holidays, tailored to the traditions and celebrations specific to each area.

Key regional holidays

The Junta de Andalucía has designated 6 January (Epiphany), 28 February (Día de Andalucía), and 17 April (Maundy Thursday) as the region’s specific public holidays for 2025. Notably, two of these dates—Epiphany and Maundy Thursday—are also recognised as national holidays, giving residents an extended period of celebration.
