Villajoyosa TRAM disruption was reported on Thursday morning after a car left the road in the Montíboli area and ended up on the TRAM tracks.
Local emergency services, Policía Local, and TRAM staff were sent to secure the scene and prevent any risk to rail traffic. The driver was able to get out without assistance, and no injuries were reported, according to local officials.
Cadena SER reported that a TRAM unit managed to brake but still made a light impact with the vehicle, and the rail-side infrastructure was damaged. The priority for crews was to remove the car and restore normal service as quickly as possible.

The incident affected TRAM Line 1, with a replacement bus service activated on part of the route while crews worked to clear the track and secure the area.
