TUI UK cancels flights and cruises to and from parts of pain

Despite Spain remaining on the UK government’s amber travel list, TUI UK announced today numerous cancellations to various destinations across Europe. They are offering only limited Spanish destinations.

TUI UK today announced cancellations to some Spanish destinations. The tour operator, which specialises in package holidays, put the cancellations down to uncertainty around the UK government’s traffic light system.

No flights to Almeria or Girona before 31st October

The tourism giant announced cancellations to some Spanish destinations. This is despite the fact Spain as a whole has remained on the amber list. This is the case of Almería and Girona, where the tour operator has cancelled all holidays with a departure before 31st October.

 Cruises also affected

Likewise, TUI also cancelled some cruises that departure from Spanish ports:

  • Marella Cruises cruises aboard the Marella Explorer, which depart from Palma (Mallorca) before September 25.
  • The Marella Cruises cruises aboard the Marella Discovery, which depart from Palma (Mallorca) before October 25.

TUI UK also cancelled the Marella Cruises aboard the Marella Explorer 2, which depart from Naples (Italy) before 4 November. However, a new itinerary will replace this route, setting sail from Malaga on September 7.
