MADRID – Tickets for Spain’s popular Primavera Sound 2023 festival to be held in both Madrid and Barcelona will go on sale on December 1. Rosalía, Kendrick Lamar, Blur, and Depeche Mode make an appearance, among others.
Pet Shop Boys or rapper Tokischa are also some of the strong names of the next edition of Primavera Sound. This will be held this year as a novelty in Barcelona (El Parc del Fòrum, from June 1 to 3). But it will also be in Madrid (Arganda del Rey City of Rock, from 8 to 10 June).

Primavera a la Ciutat
There will be over 200 performances in total for each venue, including both welcome and closing days. In addition, there is the program of Primavera a la Ciutat. This is the city festival that will bring some of the modern sounds to different spaces, halls and concert stages in both cities during the week.
The two cities share the bill.
Punk and k-pop, reggaeton and metal, techno and salsa will co-exist in a gathering to celebrate music in all its forms through great references, highly anticipated returns, brand-new revelations and living legends.
Rosalía returns after her tour this year with the album Motomami. Kendrick Lamar, the most important rapper of the moment, will present his new show. In addition, pay attention to the pop classics such as Depeche Mode, Blur or Pet Shop Boys. They still have a lot to say.
The smaller names are, as always, very important at the Primavera Sound festival. Veterans Shellac of Bad Religion; established (and expected) female voices like Halsey, FKA Twigs or St. Vincent; the fusion of two legends, John Cale and Laurie Anderson; or rising stars Arlo Parks or Villano Antillano.
Opening parties
The welcome days will be held on May 31 at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona and on June 7 at the Cívitas Metropolitano in Madrid. Admission is completely free until full capacity is reached. It will be a big party with a free performance by bands like Pet Shop Boys or Jake Bugg.
Closing parties
Each festival also has its closing party. On Sunday, June 4 and Sunday, June 11, again in the Parc del Fòrum and the Cívitas Metropolitano respectively, Barcelona and Madrid will experience performances by Vitalic, Diplo and Ben Böhmer.
Ticket sales start on December 1
Tickets for Primavera Sound Barcelona 2023 and Primavera Sound Madrid 2023 in all their modalities are on sale from Thursday 1 December at noon via Dice.fm. A single subscription costs €325 (+ distribution costs), a day ticket costs €125 (+ distribution costs) and a double subscription (Primavera Sound Barcelona + Primavera Sound Madrid) costs €520. € (+ distribution costs).
