Marbella 4 Day Walking all set for October 2021

MARBELLA – Hikers from all over the world have been coming to the Costa del Sol since October 2011 to take part in ‘Marbella 4 Days Walking’. The first year, many thought it was daring to organise a four-day event in Marbella.

The event is now so well known people of many nationalities are already signing up for 2022. Last year the international event was cancelled due to the corona pandemic. Just like every year, something new will be devised for the next edition to expand the quality of the event and the activities around it. For 2021, there are routes of 10, 20 and 30 km. The event runs from 7th-10th October, 2021.

‘The atmosphere is fantastic’

Initiator Hans Wohl and his wife Clarie Wohl-Morks enjoy organising the event every year. “It’s been hard work for a year, but when the first runners pick up their tickets and you see how excited they are, we always get the feeling that all the work is definitely worth it. The atmosphere is fantastic”, says Hans. There are minor changes to the routes this year to allow hikers to see something different, and for safety.

Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, it was not possible to walk in 2020. However, it now looks like it will be possible to walk in October. Marbella townhall has already given the green light.
