Some supermarkets are reopening their doors this Sunday, December 26. Although, in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands their hours will vary due to the feast of San Esteban.
The hours of the different Spanish supermarkets for this weekend, December 26 and 27 are as follows.
Mercadona
Mercadona will not open on Sunday. While on Monday 27 it will return to the usual opening and closing hours, when its doors will open at 09:00 and close at 21:30.
Carrefour
Carrefour supermarkets will reopen in their usual hours between 08:30 and 09:00, depending on the region, until 19:00, with the exception of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, which on the occasion of the celebration of San Esteban their hours may vary. Lidl
Lidl supermarkets will open this Sunday at 10:00 am and will close at 9:00 pm. Except for the two communities mentioned above, which will close all their stores for the celebration of San Esteban. The Día supermarket chain will open its doors this Sunday with business hours from 09:00 to 16:30. While on Monday it will recover its normal schedule, that is, from 09:00 to 21:30.
ALDI
The German supermarket chain will open today and tomorrow in almost all its stores in Spain from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. On its website you can check the hours of all Aldi establishments.
Ahorramás

Hipercor
Hipercor will reopen its doors this Sunday from 10:00 to 22:00, as on Monday, although these hours may vary depending on the autonomous community. On Saint Stephen’s Day the centers will be closed in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands.

The opening hours will vary this Sunday depending on the establishment. On Sunday it will open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Except Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, which will remain closed.
