New setback for smokers. The tobacconists ‘estancos’ again update the prices of certain tobacco products in Spain. Among the brands affected are some well-known ones, such as Camel and Bullbrand.
The Official State Gazette (BOE) published on Saturday, February 11, the updated list of retail prices for various tobacco products. The new rates are framed in the Resolution of February 10, 2023, of the Presidency of the Commissioner for the Tobacco Market. We detail the list of all affected brands.
The new prices in Spanish tobacconists
Tobacco prices tend to be highly unstable and fluctuate frequently. As stipulated in Law 13/1998, of May 4, on Tobacco Market Regulation and Tax Regulations, the corresponding manufacturers and importers are in charge of proposing the price of their products.

On this occasion, the resolution of the new prices is not very extensive, but it does affect certain well-known brands. Below is the complete list of the new prices established by the Tobacco and Stamp Retailers of the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands.

In the Tobacco and Stamp Retailers in Ceuta and Melilla, only one change is made for cigars and cigarillos. This is the Handelsgold No.100 product (package of 10), which now has a price of €1.80.
