Fifth annual job fair in Marbella

MALAGA – With Semana Santa only a few weeks away, many businesses in Spain are gearing up for the start of the season. April tends to be a month when many new contracts are offered throughout the country. And as such, companies are actively advertising online and at events like job fairs.

During this period, it is expected that tens of thousands of new jobs will become available. Many of these will be in the hospitality industry, which mainly kicks off from Semana Santa.

In a previous article, it was written that around half of these new jobs in Spain are expected to be in Catalonia, Madrid and Andalucia.

Job Fair

Today, March 15 in the Andalucian town of Marbella, the 5th annual Employment Fair takes place at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones Adolfo Suarez. Located in the centre of Marbella, this event is open until 6.00 pm

Represented at the event is an important range of local, national, and international companies. With over 4,000 job opportunities, all these businesses are actively looking to recruit staff.

Entry is free. However, you must register basic details to download your ticket prior to entry. Those visiting will have the opportunity to meet with up to 140 potential employers (120 companies and 20 institutions). These institutions and groups include the Public State Employment Service (SEPE), the Andalucian Employment Service (SAE), Andalucía Emprende, the Ministry of the branch and the City Council itself, which will inform about the different programs municipalities that are underway.

According to organisers, in addition to being able to leave your CVs, there are workshops and conferences designed to help you improve your employability.
