A massive fight on Saturday morning during the Rivas festivities (Madrid) left eight young people with knife injuries. Two of them are in serious condition, reports Emergencias 112 Comunidad de Madrid.
Neighbours and witnesses to the brawl called 112 around 5.45 am. As a result, SUMMA 112 treated two 19-year-olds who had incised wounds caused by a knife.
Serious injuries
One of them had five wounds in the thorax and abdomen and is being treated at the Gregorio Marañón Hospital. The other boy had three abdominal injuries and is now in the Ramón y Cajal Hospital.
The paramedics treated at the scene another six lightly wounded, between 20 and 19 years old. They had minor cuts and/or contusions. They were all discharged.
The Madrid 112 emergency service handled numerous related incidents throughout the early morning.
Guardia Civil investigating
The Guardia Civil is investigating. They established a security detail in the town to arrest those responsible for the incidents, sources informed Efe.
They are also taking statements from witnesses and victims to identify all those responsible.
