Two people died and two others were injured after their car crashes into the sea in Muros (A Coruña), 112 Galicia reported.

According to sources from the Supramunicipal Emergency Group (GES), the two deceased were young men (29 and 19 years old, according to La Voz de Galicia). The injured were also young men, both 22 years.

The Guardia Civil reported the young people were in a “restricted” area of ​​the port. The cause of the accident is suject to investigation.

Report came during early hours of Saturday morning

At 4:45 a.m., 112 Galicia received an alert reporting a vehicle had fallen into the water, in the vicinity of the port fish market.

The mayor of Muros, Inés Monteagudo, sent a message to the mayor of Outes, Manuel González, expressing regret for what happened. She also requested he convey her condolences to family and friends.
