CATALONIA – The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) has been informed by the Autonomous Community of Catalonia, through the Coordinated System for the Rapid Exchange of Information (SCIRI), of the presence of foreign bodies in Aldi, Mercadona, and Lidl own-brand ice creams.

Especially at this time of year, and with ice cube shortages, the demand for ice cream naturally increases. However, some batches in the above stores are being recalled. Please check your freezers. If you have any of the products listed in this alert at home, you are recommended to refrain from consuming them and return them to the point of purchase.
